 I like it a lot..
one point maybe: try putting your hand over a bit of the left and the top so that the part above the man's head is cropped out and the seat on the left is gone too.. is it better? just my 2 pence..  take care yeah, i had this idea, too and played around with different crops but finally i liked the unedited version more

the reason i suggested was because i thought you were trying to hard to make it into a subway photo whereas it would have been a stronger photograph with the man and the child alone... just my opinion if you like it, that's most important.nicely done  kontrast und farbspiel sind umwerfend!
genauso, wie die schärfenverlagerung kind/alter herr. wie einst/jetzt. ich meine natürlich das spiel der graustufen, hehe.

 yeah, but with a crop down to the man and the child you would still see some reflections, jackets and stuff, that would make it more bad than stronger imho. the child and the man in a park with trees behind them - just as an example - would be perfect to crop. here's just too much underground stuff in the back.
